MindLoop is built on one simple belief: your screen-time data belongs to you. This app exists to help you scroll less and live more — not to harvest your data. Here is exactly how we handle your information, in plain language.
What we collect
✅ Stored on your phone only
- App usage stats — how long you spend in each app, read from Android's built-in Usage Access. Used to show your screen time and reel estimates.
- Your settings & goals — per-app limits, focus sessions, AI coach mode, themes.
- Your journal & progress — notes, photos and streaks you create stay in local app storage on your device.
What we NEVER collect
🚫 We never see, read, or upload
- The content of your messages, posts, photos, or what you watch.
- Your browsing history, keystrokes, passwords, or contacts.
- Your location.
- Any data sold or shared with advertisers. We have no ad networks and no trackers.
Where your data lives
Almost everything stays on your device. MindLoop works fully offline for its core features. We do not run analytics SDKs that profile you.
Payments & Pro
MindLoop Pro is a one-time ₹199 lifetime unlock. When you upgrade:
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card details.
- To let you restore Pro after reinstalling or switching phones, we store a minimal record in Firebase: your email (or phone) and the payment ID. Nothing else.
- That record is used only to verify your Pro status. It is not used for marketing.

Usage AccessLets MindLoop read how long apps are used, so it can show accurate screen time. It cannot see what you do inside those apps.

Display Over Other AppsPowers the floating awareness bubble that gently shows your timer while you scroll.
♿
Accessibility ServiceUsed only to detect which app is in the foreground so the bubble and limits work — and to host the bubble without a permanent notification. We do not read screen content or collect text.
Children
MindLoop is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your control
- You can revoke any permission anytime in Android Settings.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
- To delete your Pro record from Firebase, just email us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted in the app.
